I just got back to Shanghai after six days in the fine city of Singapore, and I must say I had a REALLY GOOD TIME there. Lovely weather, very regular. Cloudy sunshine all through the morning, and droves of rain pouring down in the afternoon. Seems like that I left most of the inhabitants of my brain back here in Shanghai, because my boy-muses were mostly absent during the trip. Summer vacation is almost over... it's just... two more weeks of mid-year bliss until we are once more consumed by that hulking institutional piece of machinery known as High School. Marvelous. I really don't dread going back myself, as I get to spend some time with human beings that aren't my first- degree relatives for twenty-four hours.
